Ehhehe how can I answer this n not make it sound like a trade post.. lol well here goes information only ;-)
Ok to sum it up Hondata not only enhances power & torque across all throttle positions throughout the entire rev range but significantly enhances throttle response, driveability, fuel economy and outright acceleration (that’s my new business into line ! eheh)
Hondata is most certainly an all in one solution, it a one stop solution with will do everything and anything that is required to tune the car perfectly, period.
There is no need for air fuel controllers, vtec controllers piggyback devecies etc Hondata replaces all of these in a all in one unit, with no limits.
The s100/s200/s300 are different products within the S range which is suitable for all D B H and F (accord) engines from 1990 to 2001, mean while our K products are for K engine 2001 onwards.
There is absolutely no tuneability difference between any S product, they all have the same degree of tune ability. The difference is price, and the extra features you get. In 99% of cases the most common solution is the s100 its cheaper than the rest and for the average owner it’s a perfect solution. For those who want more race feature add ones such as full throttle shift, launch control and datalogging we offer the s200/s300 range. These features don’t add any more tuneability to the car or extra power, but they do enhance the features.
If you have any questions feel free to call me any time on 0417 875 785 always happy to educate people in anything that I can teach, or you can email me directly or PM me.
Hope the above information helps you out.

Price is dependent on the year and make of the model ;-) PM if you want prices. But the s100 is typically $100 less than a brand new VAFC II. Of course these to products can not be compared, the features of Hondata vs a VAFC is like 100 fold more, like comparing water to vodka when going out drinking ;)

hey blkcrx thanks heaps for that! it doesnt sound like a trade post i just wanted to know more about what hondata can do... and you've answered that! thanks!
its good to know it replaces the need for many separate pieces of equipment... i like the idea of the s300's datalogging capabilities... neat!
thanks again
cheers

No problem a pleasure to help, I always enjoy helping and educating people , if someone wants to learn, iv got all the time in the world to teach.
The s300 has some very nice extra features like the onboard datalogging which can be very handy, the s200 also has datalogging but you need to have a laptop or plam hand held PC connected to the car to record the data. The s300 advances on the s200 by having onboard memory to record everything the car does.
For detailed information on the s300 view this site

Although my previous comments still stand, for the average person the s100 is more than enough making it a very much bang for the buck option.

Just to dig this back up again...
With a VAFC or something like that, i understand (i may not be correct in this understanding) that you are able to remotely alter the air:fuel ratio while driving? Are you able to with the hondata? Or is it more 'set up and go'? I guess i'm asking if there is any form of remote control. Also, are you able to set up multiple maps? Eg., one for drag racing (with launch), one for economy, one for tracking? Or does it need to be tuned each time? Thanks again james/blkcrx!

My cam? You mean my car? Nah, it got broken into and the ****s stole my stereo, my iPod and ****e up a bit of my interior and the bodywork. Took down the pics from my vBgarage for that reason, car is slowly getting fixed with a couple of new bits n pieces.
