how was ur block damaged ? if ur block is damaged then possibly ur internals are gone.
and i dont believ eyou can use them in a b18B block, its not strong enough

Wouldn't it be similar to LS-VTEC??

Actually i take that back, no u can't do it-- i was thinking b16a/b--
B18A/B have longer rods and a different bore size to the B18C block
You would need an entire B18A/B bottom end .. and u'd have to drill a few holes to turn it into LS VTEC...

same thing happen to me. I found the bit that broke off the mount and had it rewelded and had helicoils put in. Been fine so far.
if you really want to you could use a B18A/B block. Everything fits. just need an LSVTEC conversion kit or tap the head for oil lines.
but it definatley can be repaired and it would be alot cheaper than rebuilding a motor.

agree,LS/VTEC B16 head is best bet, however still can do it ,just need appropriate conversion kit

what makes you say that? :thumbdwn:
as i have said before: "if you dont, know DONT say!"
MrJDMcivic - which bolt is busted??
weezer is on the right track, so much effort to swap internals over (even though it is entirely possible, but would require a bore re-hone, new rings and new bearings)
try to get your block repaired before resorting to replacing the block...
