View Full Version : Will Sedan Lips fit the Coupe Rear bar?

Just wondering if any of the rear lips will fit straight into a EM1 from a Sedan EK, if not possbilities of fitting it? anyone know or have fitted these babies into their coupes?:wave:

nobbs has this on his EM1 and i think its the same as the one i have

Should fit okay. My lip was also from an EK sedan/hatch but it did require some minor adjustments.

Nick, i think alex got the one thats straight on the sides, the genuine ones.. this ones abit different with the jaws on the sides..

nexace, is this the exact lip you have in your car? what kind of minor adjustments did you need to apply?

I don't have the same lip and I believe the panel shop sanded the lip a little so that it was a better fit. I'll try and take some photo's for you later today if there's time.

I think the mould should generally fit between the coupe and the sedan but the boot size (from rear fender to rear bumper) is different between the coupe and sedan i think, so you may have to modify the length of the lip around the edges.

Ive done it on my EM1 and it fits. Just gotta take off those metal clips and then get some VERY strong double sided tape. Also it may be more secure if you rivet or bolt the lip to your rear bar. id show you pics but dont have any atm.

Yeah, it shouldn't be any problems, the front bar and the rear bar on 4dr's are the same on 2dr's.
