well to put a long story short
me being the dumbass tinkerer that i am decided to cut all the wires from my alarm unit in the engine bay seeing as my remote died a long time ago. after i cut it I thought to myself hmm i wopnder if the alarm was needed to actually let the engine start...YES IT WAS.
the car when tried to start turns over and everything but i think no fuel is being pumped. I dont suppose anyone knows which colour wires need to be joined?
Car: eg civic Si
alarm: paranha or something...dodgey old peice of shit :)

you probably had the immobilisation hooked up to the fuel pump.
find the wire that went to the fuel pump.
check behind the fuse box underneath the dash. look at the wires there.

horay nevermind
i sus'd it out
just had to join up the two fuel pump wires.
i just wasnt sure which ones they were. but i figured most likely the two thicker ones as a larger voltage would be going through. never the less it worked.
time for an ebay alarm

It must be a universal car alarm which have to cut some wires of the original car.
I think a specific one may not result this situation.
