Reverse light prob

Okay gotta a dc2 and when i put the car into reverse the reverse lights sometimes come on and sometimes dosen't, even at times it'll flicker on and off while in reverse gear.

Had the whole gearbox rebuilt and overhauled about year ago and I've replaced the reverse light switch located at the gearbox for the 2nd time now so don't think its any of them playing up..

Any ideas what it could be?

brother had the same problem.
couldn't figure what it was.
becuase we replaced the reverse light swithc and didn't fix it.
so i just, ran wires to the lights to a switch and fused them.

a dodgey conection somewhere. probly not the bulb itself. just folow the wires and look at the connections

I have this problem right now, sometimes it goes on sometimes it goes off
now is even worst as it on while I am driving.

so how you guys fixed?

me toO!! i kept replacing bulbs then i realised that sometimes bulbs 'come back to life' .. wtf isit

did you guys check the ground (connector end) for the switch? sometimes gets knocked out of position or becomes loose

It works fine on my one, just that it on in all gears
Going to get a 2nd hand switch see if I can fix the problem
