Finally got my car back after a lot of hassle
battery isn't dead anymore, and the car starts.

Now... the SRS light doesn't go off... in the Manual, it says the SRS light should turn on and then off after a couple of seconds when you start the car. But now i m running around sydney with it On...

I m guess if i have an accident, the airbags prob won't go off. I m not exactly comfortable with that idea. any gurus with any ideas?

This is for a DC5R

Check the plugs under the drivers seat, make sure they are firmly in place. no ideas otherwise, can try the paper-clip trick with the ecu, see if the car is throwing a code.

sounds like the SRS ECU is stuff, is located under the driver side.
Try reset your ECU by unpluging all the power to it.
