anyone can tell me what's the brand for this wheel? any idea how much it cost for 17"?
http://tycoons-den.com/Mobiles-den/Portrait/com/diy/wilwood_brakes/wilwood_otherz2.jpg
also..if those of u who know STTICH's 17" white wheels..can u also let me know the brand..
i tried asking him but he doesnt like to talk about his jazz (i understand that he probably got too much of ppl asking him about his car)...and he likes to talk about civic..hehehehe (no offence Kevin) =P
so..instead of giving him more stress about his car...those guys who know his car would be much appreciated..

y 17'........
too big man
17" Racing Hart CP035's are expensive, expect to pay $600+ each. That's around the $2500/set. They are one of the lightest forge rims on the market though.

bugger 16s, tyres are too dear.

16 is a good size but 17 will look better
golfphunk

hmm..suprisingly 16" still looks small on jazz...thanks FIT for the pic
anyone has 17" and 18" pic?
I think 17s is the biggest i would go! any bigger then that would be too heavy for the car unless its light weight, dont forget, it will also muck up your speedo meter.

the rims i had, had the wrong offset which made the tyres rub after lowering my car
i am now back on 15's
when u get 16's for ur car..make sure u get the right offset or u wont be happy

I'd go for 16" or 17"
but 18" on a jazz looks MAD!!
Decide for yourself

Oh yes with 18'' looks great but your car will not be so fast. The best choise is 15'' but if you want look then you can put bigger
golfphunk
20-09-2005, 01:45 AM
i'm not really bothered with fast ...if i want power..i'll keep the CA18det
i'm only after the look of a modified jazz..to me..it looks like a bullet car

yup..found the model this afternoon and called HR racing regarding the wheel..
they quoted light weight rim but the person quoted me about 9kg a wheel...ozzy racing also sell same wheels but quoted approximately 6kg each..
dont these guys actually know?
cheapest quoted to me was $920 if i buy them by this weekend for 17".
since when taiwan made quality rims these days...i was told by HR racing taiwan manufacture good rims... i think they just buy it from taiwan wholesalers (no brand wheels) and just brand it with their own brand...that's what alot of 'retailers' do these days...
Jus-10
28-09-2005, 08:17 PM
9kgs would be about right....6kg for a cheap Taiwanese cast alloy rim is pretty much unbelieveable
panda
29-09-2005, 06:06 PM
i would not consider a cast wheel to be lightweight unless it was advan or buddyclub, consider tdm wheels normal weight
Jus-10
29-09-2005, 07:34 PM
buddyclub cast wheels aren't light...my GramLights cast wheels are almost 1kg lighter each than my old P1 cast rims which were an identical size....
Cast won't ever equal lightweight.....lightweight would be about the 4.0-4.5kg at the very most for a 15" wheel (SW388 are 3.88kg each in 15")
