hey people, whats the best turbo for a dc5r, what do you have? im looking at running a safe boost of 7 psi, stock internals. :honda:

id stay with a t28 series. GT30 may be a bit to big.
GT2871r with .82 rear.

There is no such thing as BEST turbo for a dc5r it all depends on the whole setup, what manifold, what intercooler.. typically thow a t28 I personally would call 2 much of a baby !! dc5r rev very nicely to 9000rpm a lil t28 would run out of puff well before that.

"dc5r rev very nicely to 9000rpm" wtf...um in stock form they rev no where near 9k. try 8k and 8.4k for dc2r
secondly use a t3 turbo, great blend of power and response for street use.

LOL 'T3' covers a huge range of turbos. You need to be more specific than just describing an exhaust flange. Compressor and turbine A/R, wheel diameter, wheel trim etc all have to be carefully chosen for a particular combo. For example, have a look at just a few combos availables for a GT30: http://www.turbofast.com.au/GTseries.html. Flow and horsepower varies widely depending on which components have been used in the turbo.
