Any japanese brand name like HKS, Greddy, mugen etc will be good so I think you are safe with a brand name.

Personally I would avoid the cheap replica exhausts and mufflers.

"dont do it the hiper's piping is the same size as your stock type r exhaust, your not going to get any power at all, just goin to make some noise, and have to remove your tie bar"

I've seen some good dyno gains from the Fujitsubo Power Getter (you should be looking at changing to a high flow cat too, that audm dc2r cat is a real bottleneck).

BC3 for power - though minimal gain over the quieter Catbacks...
BC3 for lightness
BC3 for noise!
BC3 for high RPM Action!! :D

but hard to get a new one now... as there are changes happening to Buddy club.

I got Fujitsubo Power Getter...
Pretty good, is real good quality..
Not too loud either..

If you have stock head and cat you'll need to change them or get your cat-back modified.. Same for all other Jap brand exhausts..

I don't recomment Apexi.. The build quality is quite poor

Just to throw another name in the Mix.....

Price vs quality...... Have a look a Vision. The maker of Spoon exhusts.

tanabe sounds pretty good, not too loud but noticable on WOT, no drone at all

though the muffler looks abit stockish to some... but i've never likes canon designs
