does this seem a little to high?
all ive done is:
aus typeR header
2.5" xhaust, stok cat
k&n pod
cold air intake
advanced timming by 2 degrees
apex'i safc2 tuning
what ppl think this dyno is a load of toss??
car dont feel any quiker than it did when it was stok
and i aint running quiker times at drags

could b the dyno. all dynos provide different power ratings. i reckon their main purpose is to just test before and after power values of mods as well as dyno battles. but if ur using different dynos each time, then dont bother as their all different.

it went from 108hp to 119hp after tuning so that does show a gain right

yeah if it shows a power gain from b4 to after... mods work :)
thats wat they made for, tuning

couldnt tell the difference but i guess 11hp isnt realy noticeble!

yeah its an 8.2kw difference, which i would assume is noticable. wat wast the difference in torque?

i didnt get the torque measure just hp at A/F,
been a small N/A motor i dont think torque would have gone up by much.
last time is got measured i had 103hp at wheels and just under 600Lb of torque what ever that means

yeah im not sure wat 'good' torque levels are for our small NA engines, but ude feel it if u got increases. i think torque is wat actually pulls the car n gets it goin. but i guess as long as u got increase power figures ur laughin

umm makes me think my exhaust is 2.5 inch i think its too big for my engine thats were im loosing torque!!!!
it felt like it pulled alot harder with stock exhaust!!
ive read 2" mandrell is the best performing for nonvtec motors

yeah i was told that 2.5" is 2 big for NA motors. ive got 2.5 inch but from that massive muffler thing at the back of the car, so it only produces a lil sound... no power gains. i reckon 2.25-2.5 is a safe size though, ide never go 3+, however i am looking at upgrading the whole system, might just go 2.25 all the way thru. luv the sound with a 4" tip

i got awsome sound!!
been told by many ppl,
but yeah ive lost torque because of big pipes,
i wanna turbo it later so 2.5 will be good foe FI

i want sound gudamnit!!! then again ide hardly hear it over the sound of my system :D

i think your feeling is right ,that doesn't sound right, the car comes stock with 140 hp,so 15% of loss, should be 119 whp to start with, so obviuosly some thing is wrong , you mentioned you used a type R header, when i went to buy my aftermarket header, the one for type r's is different from the one for gsi, the size for gsi is smaller. not sure if that's one of the reasons.
also this is th list you can do to recover the power loss issue
Timing Checked, timing belt
-PCV check
-Valve Adjustment
-Distibutor Cap Change
-Rotor
-Fuel Filter
-Vacum Hoses Check
-Flush Radiator, get a all metal radiator
-Check head gasket (can cause low compression which = lower HP)
Hopefully those can help you a bit

in my experience, most fwd hondas seem to show closer to 18% drivetrain loss. Which in this case, would be about 114 whp stock. Those mods, especially with the larger exhaust that's counter productive, could quite easily only make 5 whp.

i new the exhaust is too big for NA, ill get my turbo soon hopefully

2.5" is too big IMO.. 2.25" is perfect... nothing more... nothing less
