after qualifying..............

Perhaps the most unfortunate man in Formula One at the moment is Takuma Sato. The BAR Honda driver was due to drop ten placed as a result of his contact with Michael Schumacher at Spa Francorchamps two weeks ago. An engine change really ended his day and he completed just the installation lap before pitting. Sato starts 20th and last .....

This year has really been bad karma for him, my fav driver..

I think Alonso will win the title tonight, he doesn't deserve it.

hasn't been much talk about this GP, the general enthusiasm doesn't seem to be there?

Because everyone knows Alonso sucks ass!

Also, if you go to watch Deuce Bigalow: European Gigalow like I did today, you will see two things:

1/ Kimi standing in the bus in a scene looking at Deuce
2/ An add before the movie with me in it (yeh I'm famous)

Without giving anything away for the movie, when Deuce is on the bus he is dancing around and you see Kimi stand there looking and laughing at him.

As for my big screen apprence, I didn't actually know it was going on there until I saw myself. Its for Electro Group/Electro Skills (My Work)
I'm the one in the middle, just look for the "wog" and its me :D

Damn! Missed the tipping deadline 'cos I just got home. Here are my tips anyway....

1. Alonso
2. Fisichella
3. Montoya
4. Raikonen
5. Button
6. M. Schumacher
7. F. Massa
8. R. Schumacher

Race starts in 4mins. I might have to watch the live timing instead of the telecast. Buggered if I can be f*cked staying up until 5am. Sadly, it'll be the first one I've missed all season.

congratz to Alonso for taking out the drivers title..
other than that.. not much to say about the race (could be due to the fact that its 5am -_-)
although the Ferraris were suprisingly quick...

:( There should be a crying smiley! Dammit i didn't want Alonso to get third!

Congrats on McLaren for their one-two, they are now two points in front for the constructors, lets hope they keep going well!

As the track dried and the car got lighter, my pace picked up and we were on target for our strategy. I then had a mechanical problem with the rear suspension so the car was bouncing a lot and losing stability.

lolz does the guy ever get a break

Alonso was so careful last night he had a totally average drive, he went from 1st to third remember to play it safe. Hardly a racers instinct. Juan destroyed him with that pass, and kimi went from 5th to second, good on them.

Alonso better race properly next time now that he's got it in the bag.

well u gotta look at it from his point of view...
would u risk it all with only 3 races (including this one) to go?... when all he needed was a 3rd place finish...
plus he knew the mclarents had outright pace... and that pass monty made on him was coz he ran wide on the 1st corner (due to low tyre pressure) i think it was...
i'd hardly say he doesnt have a 'racers instinct'... he wouldnt be world champion if he didnt...

being the fastest doesnt always mean u'll win every single race... ie look at kimi lolz.... its consistancy that counts... and thats what Alonso had throughout the season...
i mean wots the point in having the fastest car when half way thru the race the engine givs up on u....
and for those of u who say he doesnt deserve it... meh... get over it... :D :D

Well then that personifies whats wrong with f1. The fastest driver and the fastest car should win. This isnt the the tortise and the hare.

kenshin
26-09-2005, 07:40 PM
yeah but the hare keeps taking naps... just like mclaren with their reliability problems... whereas the tortise/renault prod along :D

oh well... i'll say it again... **** that dirty spaniard :)

pretty interesting finish, just looking at the results and reading over this thread, I didn't even no the grid for the start! Go Mclaren, show up alonso! booya:D

j3z3z
26-09-2005, 08:38 PM
to put it all quite simply Kimi and Montoya would be battling it out for the championship if the races leading up to spain where the mclaren steamroller began were not all mared by reliability issues!!!! imo one of the mclaren drivers deserve the championship!! And renault deserve the constructors! but looks to be heading the other way

Why hasn't anyone mentioned Ferrari yet?
You damm anti-Ferrari people :D

I think Bridgestone are going forward at last, Michael had a quick car underneath him, you could see by his speed trap times and keeping 4th position.

Alonso WDC, :(
He doesn't deserve it at all, he hasn't raced like Kimi, Juan, Button etc
He just had a car that was reliable, which means Renault should get the title not Alonso.

McLaren, what a car. I hope they win the constructers title.
BAR had a bad race as did Williams.
Klien was my stand out for sure.

Lots of passing again, but not by our "world *cough*cough* Champion, but by Kimi, Juan, Michael etc

I'm not a fan of the track, so I didn't find the race that entertaining.

yeah they've taken a step foward in terms of performance...
it should be interesting to see how they go next round..

.
i half agree with u..
but u gotta admit hes put in a fair effort... at least a podium in most races.. n compared to fisi.. hes done a fantastic job...

wot has Juan done?

j3z3z
27-09-2005, 08:27 PM
as with ludo2c juan has done alot both him and kimi have both there problems have been reliability and for juan back markers! and ludo2c i shumi nutts i plenty diecast cars all his from back with benneton!!!! and got my post half livery b.a.r.s lol! F##K ALONSO!!!!!

^^v
27-09-2005, 09:05 PM
...juan has done alot ...

what exactly is 'alot'?
plz clarify :)

kenshin
27-09-2005, 09:23 PM
if mclaren loses the constructors its juan's fault.. cocky sob cant take proper care when passing backmarkers...

u think the guy would get a clue after getting hit in a corner to overtake on the straight next time round but no...

^^v
27-09-2005, 10:07 PM
heres a little snippit from an interview with alonso...

Now the title is won, will you approach the last few races differently?

FA: I don't think that things will change so much, because the gap to McLaren is still big. But if you think about when Montoya overtook me in the race, I didn't take any risks on Sunday. It will be different in Suzuka. I will be more aggressive with how I use the engine, the tyres, every part of the car.

Thats a god damn lie! I saw him get passed twice

28-09-2005, 12:12 AM
everyones still going on about IF Mclaren didnt have issues early on than they wouldve won... you can say that about anyone... IF Webber didnt crashout every second GP then he should win... IF Sato didnt have mechanical failure every 10mins he shouldve won... IF Toyota had race pace they wouldve won... Reliability is a big thing in F1

to me the consistently fastest/RELIABLE person in the whole season won the championship. winning F1 championship isnt easy so i gotta pay credit when its due... whether he is a dirty spaniard or not

i cant wait for Rubens to join Honda. just what Honda needs... a South American driver!

j3z3z
28-09-2005, 12:04 PM
kimi himself was consistent fast and reliable!!!! his car just was not!

^^v
28-09-2005, 12:07 PM
gotta remember dude...
the driver alone doesnt win the world title.... its a 'team' effort
in kimis case.. the 'team' couldnt come up with a reliable package...

on a side note..
its funny... i remember ppl asking 'wonder what michael could do in a minardi'... well.. now we know he'd be doing shitter than he is now..
theres only so much a driver can do.. no matter how talented he is...

i know the package helps but its just in my own opinion that i believe kimi should have won the drivers and that renault win the constructors. ps a few years ago micheal tested a minardi just to see how they went and give minardi some feedback they had the minardi at fiorano and he lapped it within .6 of his then satnding lap record in the ferrari!!!
