Newbie DC2R Questions

Hi I've owned my DC2R for a couple of months now. I'm just notice a few things and wanna know if it's things have been changed in mine.

Do the Type R's come standard wit the black shift boot wit red stitchin?
All the air vents should have that CF look suround?
Do they come wit sport pedals?

Does any DC2R owners have rust on the front brake calipers?
Does any one's Recaros have black rubbing marks from the seat belt?

4. Yeah i've got more rusting on my back brake calipers than my front. Can anyone tell me why?
5. No I dont have black rubbing marks on my recaros, although my hip support cushions closest to the door is a bit out of shape because of the way people get in and out of the car.

hahah yeh its true..didn't really noticed it since its on the passenger side. :)
But when you notice it, its looks kinda weird..

Yeah I found it weird that the steering wheel has red stitchin, but not da gear boot...., so da original owner probably sold or gave it to a DC4 or Vti-R owner.:rolleyes:

Yeah da passenger Vent surround was questionable because it was da odd one out...

My drivers side Recaro bulster is very close to da door trim too..

then all I need is to buy a gear boot and floormats and then I'm done.:)

AU delivered DC2R does not come with a "black shift boot with red stitching"...

the pedals came with the limited edition type r's (indy edition or whatever edition it was called), and AUS dc2r has no red stitching on the gear boot

and those stock dc2r floor mats cost like $225

The sports pedals were an option from honda, they look like the s2000 one. They were an standard item on the LE indy edition.

mine came with floor mats but my work mate was looking for some for her vtir, we only found left hand drive ones :(

hand built engine, high grade pistons, oh f*ck, we forgot to put a bit of plastic on the passenger side vent.

My Type R floor mats arrived yesterday and fitted new wiper blades too due to da previous owner used aftermarket rubbers so there's no metal guides in the blade.

Does anyone know what that red plastic object that came wit da mats is?? :confused:

Is there anything for the hole in the drivers side mat to hold da mat down??

they did that that to balance to weight of the left and right side of the car. I.E when a person with avarege weight sits in the car, the car will be totally balanced
