Just wondering what the options are for a LSD for B-series owners.

There are a few in the USA but not many available here. I think the most common choices are the ITR diff/box and the JDM Civic Si LSD (an option on the Si if I remember correctly).

What else is available apart from the Si LSD (given the cost/rarity of the ITR LSD)?

Type-R gearboxes are pretty expensive.... There was a guy in QLD that had a CTR Box and wanted $1500.00 for it.

I don't know of anyone making LSD's here in Aus, but you can get heaps from the States.

Phantom make a LSD kit for around $400.00 or so...
Then you get to the expensive diffs like Quaife, Kaaz, and Cusco $$$

The EF8/EF9 and EG6 all had an LSD as an option and you can get lucky finding one now and then assuming we are talking the B16A - I guess the EK SiR would have had it as an option too given the trend.

VTiR tegs might be a different case I guess.

are we talking about the cable or hydro trannys?

the LSD options on all those cars are the viscous units, not as good as a helical one

EF and XSi ran cable clutch. EG ran Hydro-clutch.

Quaife, Kaaz, ATS, Cusco, and of course prohibitively expensive items from Spoon and Mugen. Not sure which ones are clutch type though.

Just go for ITR lsd I reckon.

Quaife all the way..been tested and proven on high hp hondas for ages..There warranty is tops too.. Their LSDs are covered even if u break them while drag racing. They go for around 800ish US though.
