Hey guys,
im in the market for a new headunit and saw a JVC KD-AVX1.
just wondering wat u guys think bout this HU? any comments/feedback?
ive currently got a JVD KD-LH2000, and ive previously owned 2 other JVC decks, have NEVER ever had a problem with any of them. they are easy to use, look good, have some good features (well for me anyways, hehe).
wondering if its  or :thumbdwn: for this puppy...
Cheers ppls,
Calvin

i have read some reviews and was considering this deck for my car...lacks buttons and has a shit menu apperently. Also the smallish screen is abit of a turn off. other than that its a good single din audio/visual unit

i heard the menu was hell easy to use... yeah the JVC's dont really have too many buttons on all their decks, makes it nice & simple.
and as eggbox said, u can add external screen :D

yeah u can add a slave.. however some people just want a nice headunit.. the JVC looks good.. but i reckon the interface/menu lacks style.. options etc.. from the looks of it...

The JVC KD-AX1 is a pretty good unit overall. Relatively easy to use, with a user friendly menu. Not sure how people can say its hard to use . My brother has it in his car and its a great unit for music video clips, although not the greatest for feature movies.

yerr u can add an additional screen to it but remember its a slave screen so the quality may either be split or could be of a lesser quality then the primary screen....and when the screen is twice the size of the primary you may be able to really tell the difference...
as a unit on its own its not bad, easy to use and install but IMO the screens too small...
