Will springs from an 97 coupe fit 00 HB?

Friend went coilovers, has offered me his old lowered kings springs cheap, but I'm sceptical, he says the part numbers match for the hatch, and also his new TEIN's are the same model number as the hatch, just would like a bit more confirmation before I go ripping into it... TIA :)

I'm pretty sure his is a '97 coupe, mine 2000 hatch....

i dun see why not? i had apexi springs from a coupe installed on my ek hatch, no problems wot so ever
