Just wondering how much a HID system would cost for a Std model Euro. It doesn't have to be an OEM Luxury HID system but 3rd party HID parts are ok (as long as they are just as good). I thought they were really expensive but reading some posts here about other Honda models and it's not that much for them.

Technically if you have a std model putting HID's in your car are illegal without light washers. So be carefull. Some people have paid approx 450 or so.

yep precisely. the xenons are also illegal without auto-levelling as well... both are ADR requirements

Is Euro Luxury model has auto-levelling function for HID?? coz I can't see any light angle change when there are rear passangers in the car.

Can the light washers be added to the std model if putting HID's on the std euro so that it's not illegal?

Ditto for the auto-levelling?

I would say you would need to order the lux bumper bar inorder to do this.

Definately not worth the effort for HIDs.

Just get some PIAA globes or something in my humble opinion

O.K thanks man.

Yeah it does sound like a bit of a mish for the HIDs on std euro. Suppose I could take the risk but I'm not to keen on a $450 fine :thumbdwn:

What do you have on your car raz05?

if you turn on your headlights (with the engine off) while standing outside the car (eg. with the door open), sometimes you can hear the auto-levelling mechanism work for about a second (or even less) while they are levelling

if you have std euro and wanted to add hid's i dont think it will be a drama as long as you go for 3800k-4200k conversion kit cops will think its oem kit from the factory, everyones getting hid kits these days ive seen mirage's, camrys and even excels with them

Thanks for that!, I just tested my car as you instructed. It works..

I further test it by standing on boot gate to tilt up front end of the car, I can clearly hear the sound from the head lights adjusting its angle.. :D
