I have a 91 DA9 (LS) teg with a b18 b transplant it is out of a jap dc2 my disy is very noisy, I was wondering if their is a kit to replace all the bearings or would I need to buy a new on ??? I beleive their no so cheap ! Anyone know the price??

there is a bearing you can replace inside the dizzy, have it replaced ASAP dude! that bearing in my car siezed and made my intake cam jump a couple of teeth on the belt.. left me stranded lol, luckily no engine damage

Umm i dont wanna sound totally stupid but whats a "dissy"? do u mean distributor? dont we have coil packs?
Keep in mind ive never opened my bonnet b4

I did this coz i just wanted to see what would happen
bodgy way but works
I opend up my dizzy and sparyed WD40 on the main shaft got rid of the noise it was squeking

Yeah Ive allready done the wd40 thing it worked quitened it down for 9 months now its noisy as I think my bearing is gone Ill have to figure out how to change it , Yes their is a coil pack inside it and thats why they cost $400 to replace this is why I want to try the cheaper options first.And to aswer an erlier question Yes Dizzy = Distributor

Shows what i know. I just assumed that any post 90s jap car ran a CAS and coils.

Can u find a common part? repco or soemthing? instead of genuine honda?

mines been replaced before i got it they paid $600!!! for it i thought that 400 was cheap (considering its honda)


maybe a aftermarket (or woteva) one should b a hell of a lot cheaper if u can get em
