got a pretty good price on this engine but it has 200k's on it so...

should i go for it?

without changing the internals, would it be worth it to get the engine, change the timing belt, oil etc....

how can i clean this engine up to ensure it run reliable IF I decide to go for it.

watch out for the gearbox. zc gearbox's ar always blowing bearings :P

otherwise 200k's for a good price is reasinable.

what weq sed ^^ isb can be a problem etc but not THAT bad.

my zc has done 220 000ks with a couple of bolt ons and performs very well against b16s etc if u know what i mean.

u suggest if comp. test is ok.

buy it and replace the timing belt, water pump, thermostat and all fluids.

with oem gear of coarse.

zcs r very good peformers man, specially in a nice handling eg

thanks for the tip..

i was told that i can use my existing wiring harness (on my dual carb setup) and just drop this engine in..because (as i've been told) the dual carby has an ecu..

can anyone confirm this?

I would obvisouly need to get an efi fuel tank and pump tho

there's no possible way to check if an engine runs without it being in the car is there?

what can i do to check the condition of the engine if it's out of the car?

has an ecu but that's going to need to be changed. As well as running an EFI fuel tank as well as the fuel lines as well.

yep thanks for that but does anyone know how my existing harness can be modified to suit the ZC engine?
