Hi All i have a Honda Civic 1990 GL ED sedan
as most people know there twin carb
can u get a cold air intake and if u can where from and what brands
i have been looking for one on the net but i only find them for the US model of my car and there all EFI
mate i suggest u get a K+N replacement filter for your car and do some CAI ducting up to the filter box.
pods on carbys can sometimes **** em up.

how do i get CAI ducting up to the filter box i have removed the resonator
i been reading stuff from www.dohc-vtec.com.au
it can be some what ghetto but MOST ppl head to bunnings or somewhere similar and get some sort of large diameter(3" etc) plumbing/piping etc and run from somewhere in the front of your car (air dam for example) to the airbox.
u can BUY these sorta things, its more like a $20/saturday after job.
most ppl run this sorta thing regardless of what motor/intake they have.

i can't upload any pic's because it said it's over the quota
u have a carby. carbys dont like long intake pipes or CAI. they like breathing 360', all around. get 2 small motorbike filters and remove the stock airbox. attach em directly to the carbys. thats ur best gain.

Agreed.. dont bother with cai on carbies.. it;ll just make ur car slower.. either get ramflo filters, mushroom filters or motorbike filters.. much betta outcome ova a cai...
i gotta dual carb btw..
