hey guys just wondering what a B20Z2 is?? its a 2.0 litre yer but from which car?? is it a crv engine?

ahhh ok, thanks i wasnt so familiar with the code becuase i usually see b20b engine codes, thanks gambate

B20Z is slightly higher compression version of the B20B.. is a marginally refined version of the B20B.. and it's newer. it has different pistons etc.

so if you have the choice, get the B20Z.. and if you have an older car.. you might need the B20B to maintain a legal swap.

In Australia they are all B20Bs. The later higher compression ones are designated B20B8. You can tell by the different intake manifolds. If you take the head off a B20B8 you will find PHK pistons (same as on the US B20Z).

are you saying that if oyu own an old car, you need an old engine?

i think he meant the other way right cause u can have old cars with new engines, what i heard is that ur engine cant be older then ur car
