Greddy kit?

Weq might be able to help you. Basically similar setup to the civics, EXCEPT you might have problems with the turbo/manifold and your radiator which might have to be relocated.

What are your HP goals ? DO u want a pre-fab kit or custom? Most d-series kits made in the US will fit ur engine fine, piping is possible the only problem, but nothing a quick visit to an exhaust shop wouldnt fix.

Then again there are a lot of turbo CRX's out there so i'm sure there is a cost effective solution.

yeah i spoke to someone that said i would be needing to get another radiator i have been looking into the kits available in the usa for my particular car and with the dollar good. just wondering if these are the best way to go or if it would be better to source either second hand or new the parts needed over time until all are aquired. but all help is much appreciated

no offense to weq or anyone else who has previously posted, but why bother with a us kit? if anything goes wrong u going to ship it back to the usa and back again? i can imagine the downtime...

aus kits are just as good if u are willing to do ur homework.

zc is about as good as any d series get's for turboing (i believe) so your bottom end if okay.

if you want to get it done professionaly ACS engineering have done quite a few turbo gen 2crx's

US kits dont fit in AU delivered cars. I know from experience, I have had to get all new piping made to fit the intercooler in. There are quite a few differences between models due to the change of driving side and a/c piping.

Get it custom, you will save money in the long run and will have a better quality setup

'kits' are a good way for noob's to do there OWN turbo work. If you get a setup dont by a workshop u will pay potentially $1000's in labour charges.

Sure its possible to put together a setup urself, gathering used/new parts is something that is very possible and can work very well, but it all depends on how confident you are. I just assumed this guy'sexperience level wasnt up there for a custom kit.
Basic kits are surpirsingly cheap these days, and from experience, i found importing a kit was cheaper then buying the equivelent parts new. Plus i had the confidence everything would fit together first time, and give an OEM quality finish.

Well, it all comes down to your budget. You still haven't told us how much you are prepared to spend.

You could easily buy a kit right here in Aus. Yes there are lots of good turbo kits in the US but why import from there when you can buy one in your own backyard.

There are so many workshops doing turbo conversions for Honda's at the moment i'm sure you could find the right kit at the right price. Online Performance and Croydon in Sydney have built some quick turbo Honda's. If you want a custom fabricated turbo kit go see ACS Engineering in Melbourne (PM A.C.S. Drag) on here and he can help you out.

It all comes down to budget though. How much can you spend? And where are you from?

Because they are mass produced, mass marketed, a mass of competition and a mass of users. You cant say that about kits here.

Hey man, we have turbo’ed many Honda’s and custom built kits and modifications for many cars, and we built from starch the fastest fwd turbo Honda in Victoria, and soon the fastest NA (We hope)

The main question you have to ask your self is how much money you want to spend.
We can custom built turbo kits from for a very low budget kits to full blown race prepared $100,000 setups it all depends on reliability and quality, but you get what you pay for.

There’s plenty of options available it depends how serious you are, asking a simple question like “I want to turbo my car” is such a very board question.

Have a search on the internet and build your general knowledge, but in general you will need the following things

Turbo manifold
Turbo (with internal wastegate or get a external manifold setup)
Larger injectors
Hondata ECU
Intercooler
Cooler pipes
Dump pipe from the turbo to the exhaust
Oil feed / water feeds for the turbo
Oil drain

As for US kits not fitting that’s kinda crap ! they do but nothing is BOLT on everything needs to be custom a little...most us kits are great apart from the engine management side of things,,, which is the most important item in the setup. You need a standalone fully programmable ECU such as Hondata, not a crude piggyback device

You can safely run 6psi daily driven even 7 8 on the stock motor, but eventually you will need to build your engine. Once your engine is build the sky is your limit as long as your turbo setup / fueling system can support the power your after.

Feel free to give me a call and im more than happy to sit down and talk about options and explain things as required, or feel free to PM or Post here and ill answer the questions to the best of my ability.

Hope that information helps
