Got a 1990 Honda Civic 'ED' GL, 5 Speed manual with a D15B VTEC conversion. Unfortunately the standard Exedy clutch is nearly dead with the power increase. I know I should have changed it when I put the motor in but it was in pretty good condition then. Now it is as slippery as a politician, so wondering what clutch kit I should fit. Uses the factory gearbox, factory flywheel, so should I get a heavy duty version of the one I already have or is there a special clutch for this motor that is balanced for high rpm usage?

Prefer not to fit a brass button or super expensive Hyper Single clutch but what works best in everyones experience?

What is the clutch pedal feel like for those who have an Exedy Heavy Duty?

Regards,

Matt

On another note, what extractors fit on the D15B VTEC? Seeing as it is a D16 VTEC head, should I get the extractors for this motor or source the EG EFI D15B7 type extractors?

Hmmm... Trade discount rocks! $330 for stainless steel extractors!! hehehe
