So its either amber or clear?

Do you think i'll get away with it?

Some cars have indicators slightly darkened tint stock and others don't have side markers at all.

I already got black housed Corner Lights
and clear indicators... was going to tint them... now having 2nd thoughts.

Has anyone painted their side indicators with black housing? Is it the same process as headlights?

No not the same, when headlights are painted black, the chrome reflector still remains, but side indicators usually have the entire backing as a chrome reflector so painting it would make them very dim in comparison and probably seen as illegal by authorities.:)

My headlights & corner lights have no chrome at all, but they have clear lenses.

yeh... its pretty stupid u can get rid of the chrome but you can't tint...

when a black housed light will give out less light output than a tinted light with chrome reflectors.

But i guess the light has to be pure amber, instead of slightly darker.

Just thought with all the people smoking their tail lights... that someone would do the same to their indicators and corners and even headlights?
