im pretty sure there 6 inch all round (front and back)
coz im changing mine atm aswell
i was thinkin bout gettin some 6x9s and bolting them into the parcel shelf and then they make the noise point towards the driver would that b a good idea or just put em into the parcel shelf?????? or gettin some 3 ways and put em in the existing housing for them???

I have 6x9's in mine and sounds very good!
I suggest getting a pair of splits up fornt just so you can get a bit of balance, I recoment it, I have JL 6x9s in the rear parcel shelf and kicker impulse splits in the front, and they're clear as hell good set up if you're planning to wack in some subs, two 12s in a decent size box and the mentioned above got me a 138.5 DBs the subs are JL audio too and runing a crap audioline amp, the setup is more for sound quality than for spl.

LoL, sorry but how can you use an audioline amp and expect to consider it as SQ?.. the amplifier is essential in a sound system, especially for SQ.
The Integra LS has 6inch speakers all round as the others have mentioned.
In the wrong section, belongs in Audio/Video.

Its one of the so wanna be top of the range Audioline amps, it was given to me as a present from one of my cousins when I first go the car.
It does the job, and sounds good :)
the sq is good enough for me, it aint like those fully sick mario intalls that only have nothing but bass, I hate systems like that, if you're gonna pump music you at least wanna hear the daamm lyrics correct?
that is what clasifies sq and straight out spl (bass)
and my system has nothing near the pointless amounts of bass as other people like, it is all nicely balanced, and thats how I enjoy my music!

A-man, i wouldnt go 3-way. after reading a couple of articles lately, the best products in terms of speakers are the simple 2-way design. whether it b slpits or coaxials, 3-way, 4-way, and 5-way r all gimiks 2 suck in amature buyers who dont know wat they want. ur best option like lo_n_sxc suggested would b to go splits up the front, but ide reckomend goin either 6" coaxials in the standard spot, or splits if u really want 2 (in the back). i personally have coaxials up the front, and just 4" up the back for 'rear fill' although i have my DSO on level 3 which pretty much fades everytihn 2 the front. with 2subbies in the back, i cant really complain. if u want 2 go 6x9s, dont b fooled by the hype on the box, listen 2 a few setups, and choose wat u want.
also, if ur thinkin about spilts up the front, ide recoment the new jaycar kevlar series. they retail at about 160, and perform better than most top quality setups that go for 3 or 4 times the price.

tip: do not combine 6x9's with subs unless they're high passed ~ 60-80hz
and for the front, only get splits (2 way components), no point for 3 way unless you know what you're doing, 2 way is enough ;)

i just put some 6.5" focal splits in my front.. i mounted the tweeters in my door trim in the top right corner... they sound awesome!
but splits in the front is definately the way to go.. and 6" 2 ways in the back wuld be yur best bet also...
good luck!

Ye 6" in the fronts. My Pioneer and Clarion splits fit fine in the front, but my MB Quarts needed custom mounts since they're 6.5". If the speakers are the right diameter, you may just have to cut out the rear of the stock plastic mount/basket to allow the magnet to fit. Once you get into larger drivers you may need to go the custom route so that the window will not hit the speaker's magnet.
I ran 6x9's with great success in my Commodore and my g/f's Prelude, but I wouldn't bother with them in a teg. For me they're a compromise where you want sound but don't have the parcel tray space/sub option. Focus your cash on the front stage and head unit and you will be rewarded.

i got some sound stream splits for the front...
a 2 channel 760 watt pioneer amp
and ive been given for xmas last yr some 6x9s
the reason i asked bout 6x9s was coz i was given them... apparently they will b fine in the system i can just turn the bass down and use them for the higher notes when my sub goes in

yup yup....6" all round, but with the fronts you need to cut a hole out of the bracket that holds the speaker so u can fit a larger/deeper magnet....

for the door speaker placement i use spacers so my speaker can fit in,
