hi if i was looking to sell my car privatley, i was just wondering how much could i sell it without a stereo? or add 2k with stereo, i was thinking around 6.5k ish', click on the 'www' link below for pics and info, because im looking at selling, and upgrading maybe to a more powerful car....

I agree ... you'll never get back 2k just because you paid 2k originally man ... that's just plain unrealistic ... trust me I wish I could sell my used stuff for the same price I paid for em ... but it doesn't work that way

I would probably put the stock stereo back and sell my stereo seperatly...
you'll make better money that way perhaps ... try it out and see :)

no way you will get 6.5k for your car..... sorry to say.

In my honest opinion, heres what I think you would get:

Without stereo: 2500 to 3500

With stereo: 3500 to 4500.

since most have voiced why you won't get much on ur 2k stereo....let me added another, if you are a buyer and you go around looking at a car and the seller tells you that he spend X amount on stereos, it gonna be looking like a perk coz it reality, its hard to justified buying a car say at 15k car when the car is only worth say 8k, for me i will tell the seller to pump in the oem stereo and he can keep his whatever X amt systems.....the figures are give as an example

on the oher side if the buyer goes looking at a car, and see one hole where the stereo shld be, you reckon whats the confidence margin gonna be like?

ok ppl, its not a 2k stereo system its a 3k possibly 3.5 stereo system, and thanks for your comments, im just looking for a price on the actual car, its done 160kms

yeh $4000 tops, i got a pretty shity 4th gen for two grand hatchback with 160k's on the clock, it aint in great knick but its on got a couple of dints and it has alpine ddr's and one of there better head units. you can get ones with b16a's in them for 7
