hey guys, just wondering if anyone can help me out. i have an 1989 model crx and had a prob with the sunroof where when it slid back it jamed on one side leaving the sunroof twisted. On removal of the sunroof panel i have found that the left hand slide(where the roof bolts too) is about 40mm further forward than the right side. i figured if you could disconnect power to one sides slide you might be able to line them up again. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as my car is garage bound at the moment till i can fix it.

Hey, i had a similar problem on my sunroof aswell, but the problem with mine is that it closes but still sits on an angle.

I think its best to take it to ur nearest sunroof specialist.

hey..

on the underside of the sunroof - the runners have two black stoppers on each side - front and back. i suspect one of your stoppers is broken - so while the roof is opening, the rail is actually staying back - and then the roof slides right off it - causing it to be at an angle.

Take the sunroof off - and replace the broken stoppers - you should be fine then... :)

Got the roof off and stoppers are good. where the roof bolts to the fixed rail on the roof, that slide attached to the motor is 40mm further forward on one side than the other. thanks for your help though, greatly appreciated.
