i dunno how legal it would be .. to do it you would have to change the rear seats as well.. JDM rear seats are 2 seater.. and as far as i know all AUDM EG's are 3 seater rears? correct me if im wrong

ill post up some pics soon of mine... again the legal issues would concern me... JDM use the extra space in the back seat for cushin rubber arm rests that are also little compartments, instead of chucking a 3rd seat there :p

imo..
the jdm plastic boot is just a novelty factor..
if you want space.. i'd recommend sticking with the audm boot..

thanks guys! it sure does... really? isnt there much space in the JDM? how come? others have said that it isnt good for carrying stuff either... can't hide sub in the rear either... hmmm

looks pretty good and quite spacy i reckon... almost like the so called 'magic seats' in the jazz :)

it's exactly that..
if you want your sub in a box..
u're gonna have to put it on top of your plastic boot..

which means, u can see it if people look at your car..
which means, thieves x 20000

yeh agree with sttich, the eg is more spacious than i thought it would be!
from the outside the car looks tiny!

i dont think $800 is worth it for this, unless u want something different from other ppl.

the AUDM EG can have as much amount of space when you fold the rear seats down too.
and plus.. you'll only have a 4 seater compared to the AUDM 5 seater

good point :)

i say, each to their own, they both have different character.

i remember squashing in a double bed size futon matress into the audm hatch, still got some space to spare ..hehe.

This is another reallllly old pic of my car, I had my interior trimmed in red leather and all the seats have been bolstered slightly. The rear seat here has the centre section slightly raised and the middle seatbelt has been removed (approved by an engineer and is now registered as a 4 seater)

If you dont mind the 4 seater like what 'Pillow' has done, and you've got $800 to burn for a JDM look, then i guess its worth the money.

Other than that, its basically the same thing. no one else is gonna notice your JDM rear..
and also.. how often do you fold your seats down anyway?.. specially those ppl with subs in the rear.

but like what others hav said.. its each to their own.
