speedo differances

Im going to upgrade to 17' on my ek, has any whose done this mod had problems with the speedo being out. i spoke to a couple of tyre places around town and they'warned me of 17' that all?

Asides from the fact that your car will be defectable because the wheels are too big (for the law), just goto an instruments place and get them to recalibrate your speedo. This is something I've heard from other ppl with big wheels.

or u can get low profile tyres to get ur speedo right google tyre calculator and put in ur stock tyres number and just match it up

I had 40 series profile on my 17"s which made it keep the same size
