hey guys im thinkin about get this set off kicker competition subs but they are only 300W RMS for the pair, doesnt sound that impressive for $499 at JB hi fi so i was wondering if they would be worth the money coz i can probably get the at cost price??? if not wat would u guys recommend for around the same price??

You can get them pretty cheap from JB. I know the retail at JB is $499. They are awesome for the price that you can get them for and handle quite alot of power. We demo them very often to many customers and they are blown away with their performance. I know they aren't the GREATEST subs around but when considering the price that you get and the power that they handle, pretty good bargin if you ask me.

ive heard them in my mates car...exact same ones.there ok i guess...what i would do is save up a bit more and get 1 good one...i had 2 10 kicker l5s...got them for bout 600 in a box...but damn they were beautiful...u can prolly get em cheaper as well..

just remember u get a good sub..ur gonna need a good amp :p

Yeah the Kicker 04KX400.1 will run it but the more suited amplifier is the 04KX600.1 but there is quite the difference in price. All depends on how much you want to spend but remember that the amplifier is more important than the sub.

thats so tru man...ive got one kicker 1200.1 mono to run both s10l5s...sounds beautiful till i blew one of the voice coils :(..but thats cause of the first installation i did..

i went to JB at Chatswood and i heard them, they pumped alot harder than i expected and it will be more than plenty for an Integra as the cabin is connected to the boot.
