I have a friend interested in buying his Uncles Euro...(cant remember what year sorry)

We were talking the other day about what he can do with it in terms of audio equipment....

Now, from memory isnt the audio intergrated into the dash and all that jazz like with the new BA Falcons.....

So this means, is it still possible to add DVD players and screens, subs, amps and all that sorta stuff to a Euro?

I dont know if anybody has done this here but if you had pictures and info would be awesome....

Thanks

Darren

Yes as tRipisakata has said, search. You'll find alot of useful information already posted.

To answer your question though: Yes, you can add DVD players and subs and amps to the Euro.

all of what u asked can be done

i think there was a forum member that put amps n subs and kept the oem head unit.

If you're thinking of getting aftermarket HU, the most likely place for installation is the big storage compartment just under the climate controls. If you look on ebay or some car audio places they sell a replacement compartment to fit a HU in.

Theres also something floating around that'll allow the steering wheel controls to remain functional with an aftermarket HU. It works with Clarion HU's but i'm not sure if its available for other manufacturers.

One thing to take note of with DVD players is whether you'll get enough clearance for the screen to slide out. Since it'll probably be placed fairly low and close to the gear knob.
