Anti Sway Bars On Civics

Does anyone know if the 97 VTI Civic Coupe comes with a rear sway bar? If it doesnt, are there holes to fit the brackets?

I'm not sure if they come stock or not, they didnt on my model :) (damn ED). But yes, its quite easy to put them on.

Have a look under the back of your car and see for yourself if its your car your talking about.

Yeah its hard to say unless you look, but i'd say the vti most probably does come with a sway bar because the higher model cars (like your SOHC VTEC coupe) tend to have better brakes and a front/rear sway bar.

Best to have a look though :)

:oops:Look for a little twig connecting the lower control arms.

They should have one standard, and if not, one would easily be put in as the VTiRs did

gotta b very careful with installing sway bars. make sure u have proper reinforcement of the sub frame cos many stories of them tearing the sub frame. best prob either get those sway bar kits with tie bars commonly found in the states or get the whiteline combo in aus.

How much would the white line kit come up to? I looked at their site and found their pricing page to be confusing. And nopem my VTI coupe has no sway bar standard.
