hey guys having a bit of trouble regarding the muffler i have on my car!
i already have the headers from xforce and 2.25 high flow cat back.
i would like to get a muffler that is LOUD (ofcourse to piss off cops) but i dont want the fartting noise..
What is the best muffler for it?
Xforce?
Magnaflow?
Apexi N1?
Other?
The one that i have on now! (which was from Spoon-Accord) sounded so much better on his car! Once it was on mine its like a whole new ball game.
Please help me out cause im not too impressed with the sound that its producing.
If you guys know the prices of the mufflers please inform me too
thanks mate
ps i dont want to spend more than 300 on the muffler unless there is a 110% accurate that it will not make that farting noise.
thanks for your time and efforts guys
hope to hear from you soon

MagnaFlow... Stand By It...
Been on every single car I've owned and love it!
*I think everyone is getting tired of me talking about it everytime a "What Muffler Should I buy" thread comes along!!!!! :D

why would you want an exhaust that would piss off the cops???? it'll just attract attention to you and then....DEFECT!
probly try an Apexi N1 without a silencer...apparently they're loud

dont u already have an Apexi N1 muffler.. the one that sounds *vomits*.... every1 is opting magnaflow.. go check if motorware still has it lol
The XForce twin loop isn't loud at all, so KrisKros that off your list Wilson.
I have it on my car atm, and I know :)

magnaflow cannon muffler i think its around the 250-300 mark.. cheaper than the oval muffler that we have on our accords.

MagnaFlows give a deep beasty growl if that is what you are after...
Besides that, there are cheaper alternatives like X-Force, Walker or Redback which are locally produced but I can't tell for sure which models in their line-up would not make a farting noise as I've seen a fair bit of those sounding like fart cans....
or get a nice resy, ive got a Jun BL resonator and it makes alot of difference to the sound. Cost of about 200-50 for a stainless steel one..

yeah i just got a trust muffler on my accord that i bought from vtek :D
I got a lukey resonator but it's still a bit too buzzy for my liking (as they say, "if it growls, its a lukey"). I'm going to get it changed to a JunBL when I get the money to fix it up.
If you dont want a cannon, JunBL make very good "twin upsweep" oval mufflers that I have heard on plenty of 4 cylinder cars, and they don't buzz at all. They are a great muffler, but I don't personally like the look.
vtek is right though, its not the muffler that makes the biggest difference to the fart-can sound, it's more often the harmonics from the resonator.
get a magnaflow if you want a nice, deep sound without much resonance or annoying drone.
If you want loud just ditch the muffler altogether :p

If you wanna buy second hand then just keep an eye out, but you might be better to go somewhere that makes fully custom systems (like Exhaust Technology in SA) and ask specifically for a quote on a magnaflow muffler. They can get them at good prices directly from magnaflow.
