WRX Bonnet on EG???

hey guyz,
My dad owns a smash repairs and he's got a WRX bonnet off a write-off lyen round.

Do you guyz think it would look stupid on a EG Hatch?
Ive already done heaps to me hatchy and ill upload some pics soon.

i wouldnt bother going to the trouble trying to fit the bonnet.

what have you done to the engine?

like ausvtec says, just use the scoop and vents!! I am guessing it would alot more work that its worth trying to get the whole bonnet to fit.

Personally I wouldnt do it though, but would be a good quick mod for the ricers out there LOL :D

just use the vents not the scoop, and put them up near the windscreen to let heat out :D

ive only got a full 2 1/4 exhaust and i orderd a full simoto POD kit last week so it should be here soon.

Would it really slow me down?i just thought it might look alright and be something different.

this rice shit people go on about is a joke u only here it from nerds on the internet. Im not worried if my cars not fast,i want to keep my licensce.
I just want it to look the goods.

Seriously, the term rice doesnt always mean its an insult. If you use the term Rice, then its just a simple label given to peoples style of car mods. And everyone knows what you mean as soon as the word is mentioned.

I think you should do something else with your civic and leave WRX bonnets to WRX's.... like Z3 mirrors and other extremely tacky generic car mods ...
However on the other hand you might be able to modify it to look good on your car, without making it too obvious its a "WRX!!!" item..... so it's really up to you man. Do what you want...its your car! :)

but do as others have said, fit the scoop and vents into the EG bonnet ... your practically going to end up re shaping the rexie bonnet to the EG shape n e ways ... just makes more sense to do it that way IMO

just leave the bonnet, cause if u put a vent above pod filter u will block it up possibly cause car to stall in the rain, plus root ur pod filter

the wrx bonnets are MUCH lighter than the civic ones due to them being made from aluminuim.
Look, if you can make it fit then by all means. However a bit ricey because the scoop on the WRX has a purposeful airflow movement function - which is actually in reverse to the hondas flow.

the bonnet wont rit. Its totaly the wrong shape and curve. Best advice as given by others is to sell it and gain the cash. Check out the impreza forums.
