Hi, i own a Integra XSI auto b16a motor, For some reason i feel that my car is wasting alot of petrol, i pour about $10 premium and i can only drive about around 60km?? I do about 10 litres for 100km normal driving roughly. What can be the problem?
For the b16a engine am i suppose to use premium unleaded all the time??

yeah i think i should try run a full tank and see how it goes, but im sure the car is eating alot of petrol. Needle goes down fairly quick.
Could it be any engine problems??

well 10 dollars in pulp doesnt buy that much petrol anymore these days.. maybe 7ish ltrs.. and considering its an auto it will use more then manual.. maybe get it serviced if your worried

when u puttin only $10 in, its hard to say how much you're using cos the needle moves all over the place especially going up hills and stuff..... fill up ur car to full and drive about 100kms and then fill it up again.... and see how much it uses.

plus u shouldnt be running it on empty too often becos it is not good for the car's fuel system.

good luck with ur search....

the more fuel you put in , the further your car seems to go. Thats what i experience in my dinosaur anyway.

BTW - is your air filter clogged ? Fuel filter stuffed ? clogged injectors ? too thick oil ? bad o2 sensor ? Heavy foot/revvy driving style ? Some things that might contribute to poor fuel economy.
