put your car on a truck, and get it delivered to the exhaust place

IF you do get caught though.....you'd pay the equivalent fine of driving around without a cat (5 or 10 grand fine was it ?)

origanally i had planed to have a guy come to my house and make the exhaust.....but aparrently there is only one bloke who does that and he works out of the windsor area only! (bugga)

i suppose driving to the exhaust shop is the cheapest / quickest way of doing it....... i got told about this tempary metal tube that i can slip over my exhaust.... i may just use that.
oh yeh .... my dump pipe is no where near my cat , and if it was it would just swallow it as the cat is a 2.5" and the dump a 3".

You could even try picking up some off cuts from the exhaust place (I doubt they'd charge you if you were bringing it to them anyways), put it in the 'gap' b/w your dump pipe n cat and then wrap it up with some heat wrap. Possible temp fix

nice setup ECU man. lol
i say get it towed or take the risk of driving it there, maybe with a makeshift plan like ECU Man's..

well so free pipe as aposed to a flex pipe worth $40 is a much better idea. even if i have to get some heat wrap to secure it.... i was going to get some heat wrape for my manifold anyways.

i know many people who have done it. u gotta be really unlucky to get a defect. if a cop pulls u over u just tll them u are on ur way to the exhaust place ?? just tell em ur vtec feel off and ur taking it to get fixed!

most cops would know v-tec if it hit them in the butt.
some one should make ready to order turbo exhaust for turbo hondas, they becoming very popular.

the problem is the downpipe will vary with every manifold/turbo combination, so it would be very unrealistic to make downpipes for every cobination.

hey just drive it there. turbo cars arnt as loud as a non turbo car. i drove mine around for 2 weeks with a front mount and no front bar or exhaust on and never got pulled over. got some good looks though. And how many people have you heard of that have got this 15,000$ fine?? i no of 2 people that have got caught and one got told to get one or cop a fine, and the other guy got done for a few things so they let him off the cat fine.
