Okay please dont laugh at me haha but this is a serious problem to me.. wasnt sure where to put this thread but if it needs to moved, please do so:thumbsup:

anyways ive got an aftermarket gear knob, where it requires you to use a rubber sleeve on the tip of the gear stick and then screw on. similar to the momo ones, now i cant get it off.. and the part where it has the screws is covered .. its like the knob was built on to the shifter.. ive tried pulling twisting.. i can just see a part of the rubber seleeve now but wont go off futhur.. ahh so frustrating:(

wud heating the rubber work? with like a blow dryer ?
anyone had a similar problem and has found a soloution or has one. please help:D

Cheers
RJ

DAng ive tried any lubricant u can think off LOL .. haha nothing works..

so then i restorted to cutting the gear knob on half.. ive cut one side and found where one of the screws sits and ive taken it off.. and now only 1 bolt is holding it and it still wont bloody come oFF!!atleast its turningg half way now.. i need some electirc saw now.. hands are sore from doing it manually..

damn gear knob snapped one of my plyers.. and even my eletric drill cudnt drilll thru.. it just jammed ... FARRR OUT IF YOUZ WANT A QUALITY GEAR KNOB TO LAST FOREVER> GET A ISOTTA GEAR KNOB..but dang they so hektik to take out..
I so hope a electric saw will do the trick.. or imma go WACK... any other reccomendations from here LOL.. no turning back ive got half a gear knob to drive around with for the week *sigh*
