Hey, does anyone have a guide for removing the front bar of a dc4? I just bought a Bomex front bar and am trying to keep costs down by not getting it done professionaly.

1)u need to remove the screws on the top of the bumper
2)u will also need to remove the bolts on the left and right hand side of the bumper inside the bonnet.
3)under each front wheel guard there is 2 bolts/screws which hold the bumper to the guards. will need to remove bolt on each side.

if you search the Articles/Reviews forum.. there is a very informative DIY on installing a front lip on an EG by benjammin. It shows u in detail with pics how to remove the EG front bumper.
I know its not the same as your dc4, but it may give u a bit of an idea of whats involved.. worth a look
pertty much just takin a few bolts and screws off...

Cheers, those links have really good guides. I found a book at a Repco, that is a complete guide to teg 94-01's. Detailing information on everything from removing tail lights to changing engine parts, with guides and photos. It retails for about $40, might pick one up and have a look through their guide for removing the bumper. It should be pretty simple though.
P.S. I dont work for repco, if you thought i was a sales rep, and you can probably buy it somewhere else too.
