Hey um...my da9 has done 289ks on it, and at the moment shes in the garage coz ive lost my licence, its been 4 days since she has been on, and today when i turned it on and waited for a bit, i gave it some revs (when it was hot i assure you) and all this shit came from it

i was just curious, what the heck is it and how does it happen, and is it bad for my car to be doing that?

Look sort of liquidy from the photo. Is it powder (black soot) or black liquid? If its liquid its oil and thats not a good sign.

id say its a mixture of oil and soot buildup , from sitting there doign nothing.
Oil and gunk might of leaked down past your valve stems and into the combustion chamber and other deposits have been blown thru.

yeh it was liquid, and it isnt the 1st time its haoppend, it did it a few weeks ago as well when i WAS driving it normally.

thats a lot of shit coming out something could be really wrong cause i remember that when my car was in storage i would start it up like once or twice every second week it would blow smoke from the carbon build up but nothing that black have it checked out could be pistion rings or valve stems leaking a lot of oil.

Its really nothing bad... some cars do it less - others do it more...

Once one of my mates was behind the car, and I unknowingly floored it... his white socks were black! was funny :D

lol, i had the same problem when i was using OPTIMAX petrol. and it tends to happen alot with honda cars and this petrol. thats why i only use ULTIMATE nowadays... so if by any chance you're running Optimax, try running ultimate after ur tank goes empty and see how it goes. hope this helps =)

Its just built up carbon and condensation mixed together to look like black sludge. It gets blown out your exhaust when you start the car.

Its normal if your running rich

dude.. there is no point is saying it 100 times... cos someone will reply in a second and say something like the engine is going to blow up, the pistons or rings are bad... seriously - 90% of the topics here get rolled over and over again and thesame stuff is being said 100 times...
