Hi Guys

I have got a 2000 model Prelude, just wondering if the factory tyres for Accord Euro can fit on the Prelude?

Thanks

Jim

What size are your current Prelude tyres?

Euro Std is 205/55/R16, Lux is 225/45/R17.

All I can say is the PCD is the same.. not sure if the diameter fits... From memory, the Prelude ones are smaller in diameter therefore the Euro's wheels might be slightly too big for the prelude unless you recalibrate the speedo or you change the tyres to a smaller profile one...

I think that is right - I think the Prelude has 205/50/16 so they are a lower profile.

If you fit the Euro tyres your speedo will read 3.4% too slow - so when you are at 100kph you are actually travelling 103.4kph. Not a huge difference especially when you consider most cars at 100kph are actually travelling 96 or 98.

You could always just buy the 50 profile rubber of the same tyre make and model.
