Yeah, dolleros :D

Not that they're not good engines but you've got to ask yourself is it really necessary?

I dont think he would have asked if he had the money? Unless he is mis-informed?

the misinformation is that a jun engine can be bought for the same cost as a engine swap
c'mon guys, a proper swap costs upwards of 7k to 10k for a type R job walk in walk out
then you want to add jun internals into that?
jun piston set alone is upwards of 2k
add on the rest and your "swap" will skyward to 18 at least

do you think many people have that much to spend?

tru..

or you can send it to JUN in Japan and get thevice president of JUN Auto Mechanic to build it for you. Then sign the valve cover.
Like a few SR20's and RB26's over here.

doods i so wish i did have the dosh$$ to even afford an engine like that, but nahh it just intreagued me to see if any die hard honda fans would actually have gone out and had a jun put in??
Same with spoon, i'd love to be able to afford thei gear but it's just too much!!!

i remember reading in some ozzy meg about honda performance shops, there is somewhere that orders the jun engine for you and puts it in, and gets everything running smoothly. just imagine something like a eg or crx with a jun b16a/b or jun b18c. no interior, just 2 buckets and harnesses, no stereo, fully stripped. IMAGINE....

i have a friend in the states and we we're actually talking about JUN engines a few days ago... his quote from them was AUD $19k, which sounds about right for USD $14k

edit: oh, and the price figure was AUD $19,247 for a stage 4 kit.

An N1 engine is not much better than stock...
Unless you're racing in this highly regulated series,
Purchasing one of these engines is nothing more than a complete waste of time & money...
