mY 1996 AUTO INTEGRA has just started to become reluctant to change into 4th gear. Does it a little later though. Any ideas? Hope its not going to be expensive!

Correct me if I'm wrong but maybe it's your Shift Cable is outta place. If it is, it's a matter of correcting it back into the right place. Not a hard task to do.
If not, then maybe have it checked out at your Local Mechanic.
Good Luck Bro!

Has the auto transmission been serviced regularly? It might be due for a service if your transmission fluid is old.

SLPJCooL is pretty right, if your shift cable is out or has been tampered with, this will affect the opertation of the tranny.

as soon as the throttle is opened the leaver on the tranny that the cable connects to should start to move, and must be allowed to reach the rest position when throttle is closed.
