my crank pulley off my D16a8 has been damaged and i was wondering if the D15b4 carby motor crank pulley would work on the D16a 1.6 efi motor...my mate has given me the D15b4 pulley.was just wondering if anyone would know if it would matter using the D15b4 pulley on the D16a8???

they look simular except the D15b4 pulley has holes around it.. and the D16a8 pulley had a hexagon hole on the front of it..

can anyone help??? pm me or write in thread... :)

please dont use it...different engine with slightly different dimensions ( circumference of AC/PS/alternator guide) and no doubt slightly different weight too...get a d16a8 one and be 100% sure :P

as for the hex hole and the two holes, there just two diferent ways you can remove the pully, thats where the special tool attaches.

probably not, but Honda design the harmonic balancer to stop harmonic vibrations and harmonics at the crank, so you may or may not have problems there.
