which "wheel drive" will give it more power?

doesnt relate to power..it relates to weight balance and delivery. RWD cars have commonly been able to take off quicker whilst FWD have greater stability when accelerating hard during a turn. dont quote me.

well both will be the same. its just lauching ur car. RWD means pushing the car whereas FWD is pulling the car. the rest is common sense :D

RWD cars have more drive train loss than FWD cars so technically FWD is faster.

and typically from what ive seen a rwd drivetrain wieghs more than a ff, but then with a rwd u might get a better weight distribution.

If you are in the corner and you give it too much throttle, FF will give you understeer which is safer, but does not let you get on the power early in the corner. Fastest is to accelerate at the apex. FR on the other hand can have something between neutral to oversteer when on the throttle in the corner so you can potentially accelerate before the apex and achieve a higher exit speed. But if you are not able to control it and it oversteers into a spin, then you get dent damage and whiplash.
