how to wire a efi fuel pump upto the relay, and also get power to it so it works correctly.

the fuel pump relay is under the dash, it is usually named a Mitsuba or similar.

it has a 8 pin connector,

looks like:

let me know whjat ECU you are usign and i will confirm pin 3 and pin 8 connections...

nah, need to know which ECU you are using,

it will have a code on the side above the bar code

If your using OBD1, pins A7 and A8 are used to run the EFI fuel pump, thru the main relay pictured above. If for some reason, your car stalls or your in a crash etc, pins A7 and A8 will cease to draw power and the fuel pump will cease to get power, this stops the fuel pump feeding an engine bay fire.
The pics posted are pretty self explanatory, just a case of working out which wire is which.

pumps do not pump the whole time your driving hence the relay... yes its all sorted now i believe..... its not my car its just a d16y conversion on my mates car...

Fuel pumps do run continuously, that is what your fuel pressure regulator is for. The fuel that is pumped up and not used is returned to the tank from the pressure regulator.
