shifting trouble... box prob?

hey
im having major difficulties shifting smoothly or even shifting at all
im having to use wat i rekon to b excessive force no matter what gear or how im driving
and yes i am using the clutch
i suspect either a g/box prob or maybe a clutch prob
any ideas?

yup..it's your box....ur box probably need a rebuild....
or try changing the gearbox oil...that might help...

hmm gearbox oil sounds like a good option lol
how much is a rebuild for a d16y4 g/box? sounds expensive lol

having trouble getting into and out of gear ? every gear including reverse and at any speed ?

if so sounds like your clutch pressure plate :( cheaper to fix than gearbox at least

try some new oil first, i say honda genuine mtf. $20-$30, think youll need about 2L for d-series box. if no good, then i guess its off to your mech/
