power antennae HELP

hey guys, just wondering how do you test for the power antennae wire from the stock wiring (not head unit wiring). thanks :D dont know how to connect it lol

*WARNING* If you got NO idea you do this at your own risk!!!

You use a 'GLOBE' style test light NOT the 'LED' style. And no you can't use a multimeter...

Put the aligator clip to permanent power making sure it wont short anywhere, and if you want you can put a fuse 1A inline with the cable between the spike and the clip (GOOD IDEA for all) and ONLY after you have found every other wire there is leaving the trigger for last then probe the last remaining wires with the spike side of the test light while listening to AM, FM is no good as it will work anyway if your in a strong signal area. If your reception comes to life then you have found the antenna trigger wire.

Again, only do this if you have common sense and know what I am talking about...

can u please explain again? so when looking for the antennae wire, i plus the alligator clip of the light bulb tester to the main power, and just probe the remaining wires for reception?
