Ok, I've put deposit in and I'am taking over the car on 13.11, so another few weeks (the owner is going back to singapure, so we made a deal that he keeps the car until his school is over).
It has a Xforce exhaust system (4-1 headers, high-flow cat and rest of the piping with nice stright through style muffler), and after market air inatake (I think it's Apexi), the rest of the car is stock, at the moment I will not have much $$$$ to spend on it, but I want to get some sort of ECU upgrade, so what do you boyz think what would be the best way to go, the whole replacement unit (Apexi Power FC) or just some piggi back style thing and also your opinion about Xforce headers and exhaust, should I maybe save up and get some Jap staff (spoon, mugen etc) or is Xforce OK???

The DC2 r responds very well to tuning, I did a dc2r today, here in Melbourne and as per normal it gained huge amounts of power throughout the rev range, and equally lots of power up top. This particular car were installing a Jackson supercharger to it, so I decided to dyno the car stock ( with intake and extractors) and then this afternoon I tuned the car up to see the differences, and then were just about to install lots of Toda equipment into the car followed by the supercharger, ill have photo’s and video and information up on my site as we do everything, so yeah keep your eyes out for this review. Currently the car made tuned 142kw on a Dyno Pack Hub dyno.

yeah 141kw without a supercharger, but yeah thats on a dyno pack so thats around 120-125 kw on a dyno dynamics dyno, dyno pack dyons tends to read higher... or Dyno Dynamic dynos tend to read lower.. lol blah its only a number anyway a dyno is a tuning tool but yeah either way it made 115kw standard ECU and 141kw tuned.
Now the toda parts will go in, followed by the supercharger...
I tune Honda race street drag and track cars around Australia.

I was just reading that, so how much is hondata ecu installed and tuned by you, and what would be the power gain???

Email or PM me for prices I can’t turn this into a for sale post ;-) really depends what features you want or don’t want.
As for power gains, how long is a piece of string, how healthy is the engine, if I could predict how much power your car would make without even looking at, without doing a compression test and driving it I would packup my shit tomorrow and predict the tatslotto numbers every week and buy a new Honda every day of the year along with a island and a race track ;)
But yeah back to reality, a dyno is a tool used to show power difference, and is a tuning tool a dyno can semi workout how much power you have and how much you make once the car is tuned, sadly my brain isn’t powerful enough to do so.
On the other side of the coin though averagely I see from the countless dc2r’s iv tuned thought-out Australia a very significant gain in power throughout the rev range, there’s please of DC2r Hondata owners out there feel free to ask me for some contact details for owners.
