I think my car ecu is running in LEAN mode! it just stop rev after 3100rpm!
and its ideling around 1500 rpm! is like driving a BOAT...>.<
I think the fuel ratio isn't mixing well! after I drive all the way from freeway to my home! it burned my bumber!...and a lot of carbon sticking around it!

it happen a few times b4, and I couldn't pull out error code from the ecu! most of the time when on the way or just leave the car the machanic! it just go back to normal! ( while driving toward the machanic shop it just back to normal )

I just cleaned the IACV! dunno if it will work!
please any one have this problem b4?

engine is a B16A , ecu P30 chipped

You mean LIMP mode and its runnin rich.

Need to start with ECU error codes first!

as wynode said it sounds like the "limp home" mode i've been hearing about, which means ur ecu reckons there's something wrong with ur car or is receivng the wrong signal, causing it to go into a safety mode

I've heard that it oculd happen when oxygen/CO2 sensors die... chcked those?

that's what I reckon! It start happen when I install " FIELD VTEC CONTROLLER" a yrs ago!
I uninstall it stright away! coz the controller not like Apexi one! it direct control the injector! and I tried to change the map sensor! it fine for 2 months!
I just find that every time when the weather changing cold ! it happend ! ( really cold start)
I reckon there is some problem on oxygen or o2 sensor too!
where about it locate?

I couldnt pull the error code from the ecu! It never have the check engine light on, even if I ture the key to igition position! not even for a while!!!

I came across a similar thing once,

found out it was poor wiring at the ECU

Sounds like cheap soldering, nasty chipping, or corrupted eprom, corrupt map sensor, wiring issues, fuel pump / pressure or a dead ECU, but even then limp mode should kick in and be “semi” ok.
Take it to a specialist and get it checked out.

mate, this is not the first time its happened, field vtec controller installed on a mate's type r, and the vtec literally was non existent, i took the car around the block, and there def was a problem, either the solnoid shat itself or just wasnt connected properly. i took it off, reconnected everything, disconnected the battery, pumped the brake pedal a few times, reconnected bat, took it around the block, and the engine was healthier than ever, then slapped my mate for buying a vtec controller in the first place ;)
