Hi,

Not sure if I'm asking in the right place... but since it's about a civic I decided to put the thread here.

If your car doesnt have a parcel shelf, is it possible to get one? If yes, where can I get one from and how much am I looking at?

I have this sticker on the back of my car (yes I have already used the search button) and for some reason it looks like it's embedded into the paint of the car? Any tips (besides hair dryer) to remove it ?!?!?! I really don't want to damage the paint.... but if that does happen, I'll probably have to stick another sticker over it :(

The light in my car doesn't turn on when I open the door, I have to turn it on/off manually... Normally I know if you put the switch in the middle it will do it automatically... but the button won't stay in the middle... did the eg civic hatches not come with this option?

Does anyone know a place that makes custom honda seat covers for the type of seats I have?? It's so fugly, it's the seat where the headrest has a stick on the side... sorta like this...
_____
|_____| <-- head rest
||____
| seat |

What is the size of the fuel tank? And how many km's should I expect to get out of it?

Ummm... that is all I can think of at the moment... So yeah, thanks in advance... if you got any other tips for a Honda newbie it's be appreciated :o:D :p

When you say your car doesnt have a parcel shelf - you mean a stock one? If so, you can probably get one from a wreckers.

What car are you driving? I am not 100% sure as I am not sure which badge/sticker it is but you should be able to just get a corner up and pull the rest off. You may have the problem however that if the car is old the colour under the sticker may be different from the rest of the car. If it is a badge then it may have pins holding it in.

Not sure about the rest of your questions, but you should be able to find out details about the size of your fuel tank in the cars manual.

afaik all models came with parcel shelf...so ur MISSING a parcel shelf, not that u have to install a new one... u shoudl be able toget one from wreckers for cheap $50 about

to remove stickers just peel off... if its stubbon heat it up with a hairdryer first

size of fuel tank and mileage can ebf ound under "research cars" option in www.carsales.com.au

i've NEVER seen seat covers for those seats... u might ahve to get them customised from a auto upholster store... customs jobs cost a bit tho

those seats arent ugly mate they r rare-ish eg6/jdm seats. only a few models came with em, seat covers r gay man. leave em.

if u have ur heart set on some, any car seat cover will fit as good as it would on a seat with a conventional headrest, they all look crap imo. put those 'slip on' ones. get bright coloured ones coz they r the coolest

Wreckers are an option but the parcel shelves are one the first things that people want to get from a bashed up car from wreckers. Might be hard to find though. If you can't find one at the wreckers, you should be able to get one made up by most car audio installation places / specialist. Normally should charge you around $60 or so.
