Hay guys
I'm changing my oil tomorrow after new rings and I need to use Petroleum based oil http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30792
I've Googled but cant find any info :rolleyes:

Mybe just give Hannys a call and ask :)
They'd probably recommend either FEO or Mobil 1
But given your cylinder walls aren't brand new I don't think its as big an issue. You just want your rings to bed in nicely.

The blocks been honed so a quick oil change is the go

Honda FEO is made by Caltex same with all there MTF, ATF etc.
is written on the back of the white label in small prints. :D

idd hold off til at least 10 000kms for full synth. I think you said they did bearings.

they do need time to bed in.
should be fine at 1000kms, but best to wait 10 000kms, just to be sure.
